We are very excited to offer you an opportunity to take part in the ‘Cash for Kids’ School Programme. We are aware that schools are inundated with requests to support different charity events and as such we have designed a programme especially for you. The programme is designed to support you and your students throughout the school year. It will make available to you the know-how to help you raise funds as well as provide incentives for your students and staff.
Here in the radio station we have supported many different causes over the past thirty three years, we have been there through good times and bad and feel that the heart of our community lies within our schools. This is where we want ‘Cash for Kids’ to have its roots firmly planted so it can grow with the future leaders of Northern Ireland helping to support the less fortunate young people in their own community.
We have designed an exciting programme detailing how we can work together and why your students will enjoy fundraising for ‘Cash for Kids’. 

 

This will involve:

• one event per school term (Socktober, Mini Dragons Den, Duathlon and our ‘Schools Out’ Party)
• visits to the radio station, meet and greets with our presenters
• live calls from your students and teachers in to the radio shows
• possible DJ attendance at some of your fundraising events
• membership of the NI Schools board of directors (student led)

‘Cash for Kids’ feel that it is very important to acknowledge the support given by our schools, and to this end we would like to offer your school the opportunity to keep some of the money raised for your own school fund. In some instances there will be an opportunity for schools to apply for a bursary from ‘Cash for Kids’ to help eliminate disadvantage and support your students directly.

We need 100 schools to take part this year incorporating all age groups primary and secondary from all over Northern Ireland.  If you have not already signed up to join this exciting new initiative and your school would like to be an integral part of the program please do so below.
